The best results I get are from Windows XP. When using Windows 98 it just crashes, and the version I've got is from the Collectors Edition. I've also listed every dll in the install directory as a native override, and I've tried with Windows 98 and Windows XP (using win32 prefix). Have you ever played 0 A.D.I've enabled virtual desktop and (as far as I can tell) enabled the registry key for changing the D3D renderer to gdi. Since we are not getting Age of Empires on Linux, at least we have 0 A.D. However, it is not entirely bad for a quick game in an interesting historical setting.
